Barkai Terms of Use
By using Barkai you accept these terms. Barkai is an app from the house of My Jewish Day: the hundred blessings of the day in your pocket, with an assistant that knows what belongs now.
1The texts are free
The full library of berachot —Hebrew with nikud, phonetics, and translation— is free and never behind a paywall. You can see and say them whenever you want.
2Premium subscription
Premium (the living app: sky alerts, the meal seder, the counter and the chain, the night) is priced at USD 2.99 per month or USD 28.99 per year, with no free trial —the free catalog is the trial—. Billing is processed by Apple or Google; the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period, from your account settings in the store.
3House content
The texts of the berachot and Barkai's editorial content belong to the house of My Jewish Day, with rabbinic review. You may use them for your personal practice; not for commercial redistribution.
4Suggestions guide, they don't rule
Barkai's suggestions (by halachic hour, calendar, or weather) are guidance, not a halachic ruling (psak). The app always teaches in the conditional —"if you saw it…", "if you heard it…"— and never determines the halachic moment for you. When in doubt, consult your rav.
5Acceptable use
You agree to use Barkai in good faith and not to attempt to breach its security, scrape its content in bulk, or use it in a way that harms the app or other people.
6No warranties · limitation of liability
Barkai is offered "as is", with the greatest care but without guarantees of absolute accuracy of times or calculations. To the extent permitted by law, Onward SpA shall not be liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of the app.
7Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile.
